Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Carla Högström (MyNutritionCode) when you book a consultation or enrol in a coaching programme.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website mynutritioncode.com and the coaching services provided by Carla Högström, trading as MyNutritionCode(“I”, “me”, or “the Practitioner”). Please read them carefully. By booking a free call, purchasing a programme, or otherwise engaging with my services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About me & my services

I am a Registered Nutritionist Therapist with advanced training in Functional Medicine and Nutrigenetics, based in Stockholm, Sweden. Through MyNutritionCode I offer wellness-oriented nutrition coaching, including personalised nutrition plans, lifestyle guidance, and - where relevant - the interpretation of DNA or functional lab reports that you choose to share with me.

2. Important health disclaimer

2.1 Non-Medical Nature

Through MyNutritionCode I offer nutritional therapy services that support you in improving your health through targeted changes to diet and lifestyle. My focus is on preventative wellbeing, the optimisation of both physical and mental health, and working alongside clients who live with chronic conditions. Using one-to-one consultations, in-depth dietary and lifestyle analysis and - where it adds value - biochemical, functional or DNA testing, we work together to uncover the underlying causes of your health concerns and to address them through a personalised dietary plan, supplement recommendations and practical lifestyle guidance.

2.2 Evolving science

Nutrition, functional medicine and nutrigenomics are active fields of research, and the way we interpret DNA or lab reports today may evolve over time. I work with the most up-to-date evidence available to me, but I cannot guarantee any specific health outcome - results depend on many personal factors, including how consistently you apply what we agree together.

2.3 Nature of the coaching relationship

My coaching programmes may include one-to-one sessions, education, personalised plans and non-urgent support between sessions. They are designed to complement, not replace, the care of your doctor or any other licensed healthcare provider.

3. Scope of DNA & functional-testing services

I do not sell DNA tests, I do not collect saliva samples, and I do not operate a laboratory. Where genetic insights are used in a programme, either:

  • you provide a DNA or genetic report you already own (for example from Nordic Labs, 3x4 Genetics, MyHeritage, 23andMe, or similar); or
  • you purchase a test directly from an independent laboratory that I may recommend.

The laboratory remains responsible for the scientific accuracy, processing, storage and privacy of the raw genetic data. My role is to help you make sense of the report during our sessions and translate it into practical nutrition and lifestyle choices. Because science evolves, interpretations may also evolve over time.

4. Acceptance of these terms

You are deemed to accept these Terms when you:

  • book a free discovery call via the website;
  • purchase any paid programme (Foundation, Restore, Thrive, or any other package I offer);
  • receive any written plan, report interpretation, or coaching material from me; or
  • otherwise continue to use my services.

5. Booking, payment & currency

  • All prices shown on the website are in Euros (EUR) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Paid programmes are processed securely via Stripe. By purchasing, you authorise me (via Stripe) to charge your selected payment method for the stated amount.
  • Some programmes may be offered with a split-payment plan (for example, 50 % on booking and 50 % at a set point during the programme). The full schedule is shown on the Services page and in your booking confirmation.
  • If a scheduled instalment fails, I will contact you to arrange payment. Unresolved non-payment may result in suspension of the programme in accordance with Section 11.
  • Free discovery calls are genuinely free; there is no obligation to continue with a paid programme afterwards.

6. Cancellations, rescheduling & refunds

Your time matters and so does mine - when you book a session or a programme, I reserve that space for you. The policy below is designed to be fair to both of us:

Individual sessions

  • You can reschedule a session free of charge up to 24 hours before it starts.
  • Cancellations inside 24 hours, or no-shows, count as a delivered session.

Programmes (Foundation, Restore, Thrive)

  • 14-day cooling-off period: under EU consumer law, if you change your mind within 14 days of purchase - and no session has taken place and no personalised plan has been prepared for you - you'll get a full refund, no questions asked.
  • Once we've had our first session, or once I've prepared your personalised plan, refunds are offered on a fair pro-rata basis for the part of the programme not yet delivered.
  • Once more than half of the programme has been delivered, I'm not able to issue a refund, but I'll happily reschedule the remaining sessions within a reasonable time window.
  • Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 14 business days.

Third-party costs

  • Any DNA test, functional test or lab analysis you order from a third-party laboratory is separate from my fees and governed by the laboratory's own terms - I'm not able to refund those costs.
  • Supplements or nutraceuticals you choose to purchase from third parties are likewise outside my refund policy.

7. Your responsibilities as a client

For our work together to be safe and effective, I kindly ask that:

  • you are 18 years of age or older (or have the consent and supervision of a parent/guardian);
  • you share accurate, complete and up-to-date health and lifestyle information with me so that my recommendations can be meaningful;
  • you let me know of any relevant medical condition, medication or allergy before we begin;
  • you understand that my services complement, but do not replace, the care of your doctor;
  • you take personal responsibility for the choices you make based on our work together;
  • you do not record, share, resell or re-publish any coaching material, plan or report interpretation without my written permission.

8. Confidentiality

Everything you share with me during our work together - your health history, your DNA or lab reports, your goals, and the details of our sessions - is treated as strictly confidential. I will only share your information with the processors listed in my Privacy Policy, and only to the extent needed to deliver my services to you. I will never sell or rent your data, and I will never use it for research or marketing without your explicit written consent.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including the programme structures, written plans, materials, handouts, slides, and reports I prepare for you, is the intellectual property of Carla Högström / MyNutritionCode and is provided to you under a personal, non-transferable licence for your own use. You may not copy, re-distribute, resell, publish, or commercially exploit any of this material without my prior written permission.

10. Limitation of liability

I do my best to deliver the highest standard of care, but I cannot guarantee that following any recommendation will achieve a specific health, weight or performance outcome - so much of your progress depends on personal circumstances and on how consistently you apply what we agree together. To the fullest extent permitted by Swedish and EU law, my total liability for any claim arising from our work together will not exceed the fees you have actually paid to me in the twelve months before the claim arose, and I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under mandatory consumer-protection law.

11. Ending the working relationship

In rare cases I may need to end a programme early - for example if I feel continuing would not be in the best interest of your health, or if the working relationship has broken down. Where this happens part-way through a programme, you will receive a fair pro-rata refund for the part of the programme not yet delivered.

12. If something goes wrong with a payment

If you ever think you've been charged in error, please just email me at info@mynutritioncode.com first - in almost all cases we can sort it out quickly and directly between us. I'd kindly ask you not to raise a chargeback with your bank before we've had a chance to talk.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or my services shall first be addressed through good-faith discussion between us. If not resolved, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent court in Stockholm, Sweden, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence (including the possibility to lodge a complaint with your national consumer ombudsman or the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).

14. Changes to these terms

I may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page and, where you are an active client, notified by email.
